Join our dynamic team at Heritage Research Group (HRG) as an Intern, where you will play a key role in supporting various engineering projects, including those related to research and development and our operating companies. This role requires initiative, the ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines, and the capability to work effectively in different settings (lab, office, field). Basics of engineering (e.g., chemical, environmental, and biological engineering) is required in addition to setting up experiments (e.g., lab and pilot plant), collecting data through lab sampling, analyzing it and providing recommendations. This position will report to a Project, Senior, or Principal Engineer.
Work is primarily performed in a laboratory setting, with occasional tasks in office or field environments. Must adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as lab coats, gloves, and safety goggles. Mobility: Frequent standing, walking, and moving around the lab. Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching. Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in handling small tools and laboratory equipment. Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.
