Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Multitasked / Preparation Operator for 1st shift in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. The role involves operating and assisting with multiple textile production processes, including dyeing, finishing, padding, and material handling, with flexibility to move between machines and departments to keep production running smoothly.

You will set up machines, measure chemicals, monitor performance, inspect fabric for defects, and maintain accurate production and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelors? No, but a high school diploma is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production sheets.
• Experience in textile manufacturing is preferred (dye house, finishing, weaving/knitting a plus).

Responsibilities

• Operate various textile machinery and assist in setting up production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to maintain product quality.
• Inspect fabric for defects and ensure compliance with standards.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor mechanical or process issues.
• Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with other operators and dyehouse personnel as needed.
