GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Take-Off Operator in Batesburg-Leesville, SC to roll fabric onto frames to the required yardage with precision and safety. The role requires attention to detail and communication of fabric quality concerns to the Lead Operator.

The successful candidate will operate take-off equipment, monitor alignment and yardage, and prepare frames for the next production stage while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Previous textile manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating textile machinery is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and understand basic production instructions.
• Ability to accurately monitor yardage and communicate quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Attach fabric securely to frames and ensure proper positioning.
• Operate take-off equipment to roll fabric onto the frame smoothly and evenly.
• Monitor fabric alignment, wrinkles, and winding during rolling.
• Monitor yardage and stop the machine at the required yardage.
• Change out frames when the correct yardage has been completed.
• Prepare completed frames for the next production stage.
• Identify and report defects to the Lead Operator.
• Follow production specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
