You will set up machines, measure chemicals, monitor performance, inspect fabric for defects, and maintain accurate production and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelors? No, but a high school diploma is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production sheets.
• Experience in textile manufacturing is preferred (dye house, finishing, weaving/knitting a plus).

Responsibilities

• Operate various textile machinery and assist in setting up production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust to maintain product quality.

Job Title: Multitasked / Preparation Operator

1ST SHIFT

Reports To: Department Supervisor

Job Summary

The Textile Multitasked Operator is responsible for operating and assisting with multiple textile production processes, including dyeing, finishing, padding, and material handling. This role requires flexibility to move between machines and departments to ensure efficient production, quality standards, and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various textile machinery such as re-rolling, treatment padder, Wet-Tex, de-size range, pigment padder, and Kusters machines.
• Measure and mix chemicals, dyes, pigments, and treatment solutions according to formulas and instructions.
• Assist in setting up machines for production runs (loading fabric, adjusting settings, chemical mixing, etc.)
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
• Inspect fabric for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
• Follow production schedules, formula sheets, treatment instructions, and meet daily output targets
• Coordinate with other operators and assist dyehouse personnel when neededP
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Assist in troubleshooting minor mechanical or process issues
• Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous textile manufacturing experience preferred (dye house, finishing, or weaving/knitting a plus)
• Ability to operate multiple machines or learn quickly across departments
