Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY seeks a Maintenance Mechanic for our Batesburg-Leesville textile plant. You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production and facility equipment, including carding, looms, dyeing, finishing lines, compressors, and conveyors.

You will work with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and basic electrical systems, follow OSHA safety standards, document PMs in CMMS, and assist engineers during commissioning. Overtime and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in textile manufacturing or high-speed plants.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical systems, and reading schematics.
• Ability to weld or fabricate parts is a plus and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on textile equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose issues, calibrate machines, and work with operators to improve performance.
• Maintain maintenance logs in CMMS and support safety and quality standards.
• Assist in equipment installations, relocations, and plant layout changes.
