Job summary

L & R is seeking a Textile Machine Operator to join the Knit and Sew team in Milwaukee. You will set up, operate, repair and maintain knitting machines to support production of garments.

Responsibilities include monitoring machines for productivity and quality, performing adjustments and troubleshooting, measuring garments, and assisting with basic fabric fabrication and machine upkeep. Strong mechanical skills and basic computer use are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in textile machine operation.
• Strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Intermediate math aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure machines operate at optimal productivity and quality.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot knitting machines.
• Steam and measure garments to ensure quality standards.
• Limited fabrication of select products.
