Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Level 2 Sewer to join our manufacturing team in Indiana. You will operate sewing machines in a fast-paced environment and set up equipment, including scissors, needles, and measuring tools. You will inspect finished textiles and ensure color and pattern accuracy, with emphasis on quality and safety.

Previous sewing experience is preferred; pre-employment sewing test required. This is a full-time, hourly role with opportunities for growth, training, and benefits as part of

Qualifications

• Previous sewing experience required.
• Pre-employment sewing test required for Level 2 Sewer new hires.
• Meets all production standards for efficiency and quality, defined by BU leadership.
• Cross trained on several different products.
• Meets Lippert standards of attendance, attitude, and engagement.
• Participates in JFI program.
• Participates in Safety initiatives such as Near Miss submissions.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Set up the sewing process equipment and peripherals; use the tools correctly.
• Monitor machine operation and fix attachments as needed.
• Ensure textile parts are in correct sequences; colors and patterns match.
