Job summary

Spinrite, the largest craft yarn and sewing thread company in North America, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Manufacturing team in Georgia. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate and set up production equipment, monitor performance, and quality, with safety and efficiency as priorities.

You will maintain production records, follow schedules, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, lifting up to 25–50 lbs and adhering to 5S housekeeping and PPE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and reading skills to follow instructions and record data.
• Ability to operate or learn production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Overtime and weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery according to production standards and safety procedures.
• Set up and adjust equipment for production runs.
• Monitor machine performance to minimize downtime.
• Inspect products during and after production for quality.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and make basic adjustments.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor or maintenance.
• Maintain production records including output, downtime, scrap, quality checks.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
• Maintain clean work area and support 5S housekeeping.
• Handle materials including loading raw materials and moving finished goods.
• Follow supervisor and team lead instructions.
