Job summary

Egis Group seeks a Transportation Design Lead to drive the Texas transportation design portfolio from its Houston, Austin, or San Antonio offices. You will lead client engagements, manage project delivery, and grow the Texas market through strategic relationships with state and regional agencies.

With 15+ years in civil engineering and a Texas PE license, you will oversee staffing, budgets, and quality control while mentoring teams and shaping long-term regional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Civil Engineering License in Texas is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of diversified civil engineering experience with transportation infrastructure focus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; proven client relationship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Texas transportation design team and drive client service, business development, and project delivery.
• Oversee design staff, resources, budgets, and QA/QC across transportation projects.
• Develop and implement business plans to grow the Texas market and expand agency partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with TxDOT, MPOs, cities, counties, and regional authorities.
