Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking a Highway Engineering Leader to build and manage a Texas highway design group, expanding our presence in the state and guiding growth.

The role requires 15+ years in transportation design, a Texas-registered P.E., strong TXDOT knowledge, and excellence in client relations, proposals, and project management; travel to project sites and meetings will be required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in designing transportation projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; P.E. in Texas preferred
• Strong knowledge of TXDOT Policies and Procedures
• Track record of growing engineering groups and relationships
• Ability to mentor staff at all levels and manage resources effectively
• Excellent communication and business development skills including proposals and presentations
• Experience with project management including scoping, cost estimates and schedules
• Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings
• Continuing learning and growth within the company

Responsabilités

• Lead and grow the highway design group within the Texas market
• Hire, mentor, and develop staff; guide growth and expansion in Texas
• Build and maintain positive client relationships and strategic partnerships
• Oversee transportation projects with TxDOT, municipalities, counties, and regions
• Ensure high quality, timely deliverables and effective project execution
• Travel to project sites, company offices, and client meetings as needed
