Job summary

Five Guys seeks a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to lead Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) deliverables across Texas. The role involves reviewing, validating, and sealing SUE work products, and coordinating with survey, field crews, and project managers to ensure quality and schedule alignment.

We welcome Texas PE candidates, including recent graduates with a Texas PE, and provide training for candidates without prior SUE experience.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PE license required.
• Ability to review/SUE deliverables and identify risk.
• Strong communicator across field and office teams.
• Organized, deadline-driven, and responsive.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight for SUE projects and QA/QC.
• Review, validate, and seal SUE work products per requirements.
• Coordinate with field crews, survey staff, and project managers.
• Support utility coordination with clients and stakeholders.
• Help implement internal standards and workflows for SUE deliverables.
