Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with SUE and utility coordination expertise to lead transportation projects in the Houston area. The role involves overseeing SUE plan preparation and QA/QC of field data and deliverables.

The candidate should have a Texas PE license, 6+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication and supervisory skills to manage subordinates and coordinate with clients and utility owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registered PE in Texas.
• 6+ years of experience with SUE, Utility Coordination/Utility Engineering projects.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise subsurface utility engineering and related teams.
• Experience using MicroStation, Geopak, AutoCAD, OpenRoads or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for SUE and utility coordination/engineering projects for transportation projects.
• Overseeing the preparation of existing SUE utility plans.
• QA/QC reviews of field data and deliverables.
