Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Lead for SUE in Richardson, TX. The candidate will oversee subsurface utility engineering projects, coordinate deliverables and budgets, and ensure QA/QC compliance with Halff standards and client expectations.

Strong communication, detail orientation, and leadership are essential. MicroStation ORD and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred; PE licensure in Texas or active pursuit is required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree is required.
• Texas PE license or actively pursuing PE in Texas.
• SUE experience preferred but not required.
• Experience coordinating deliverables, budgets, and schedules.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MicroStation ORD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Subsurface Utility Engineering projects.
• Coordinate project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and issue resolution.
• Ensure QA/QC meets Halff standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and clients.
• Supervise technical staff and manage clients.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff.
