The role demands 15+ years in transportation project design, a Texas P.E., a BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred), and a track record of developing client relationships and successful project delivery with TxDOT, counties, and regional agencies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in transportation project design
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree desirable
• P.E. licensed in Texas
• Strong knowledge of TxDOT policies and procedures
• Experience growing engineering groups and developing client relations
• Ability to mentor staff at all levels and manage resources effectively
• Excellent communication and business development skills including proposals and presentations
• Experience with project management: scopes of work, estimates, schedules
• Willingness to travel to project sites and meetings

• Lead and grow the highway design group in Texas
• Build and maintain positive client relationships and lead business development
• Guide growth strategy for Texas market and firm-wide expansion
• Mentor staff and direct resources to deliver high-quality work
