Job summary

Kinder Morgan Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to support the Natural Gas Division in the Central Texas region, based in Sheridan, TX. The role emphasizes safety training, regulatory interpretation, facility inspections, incident investigations, and emergency response support.

Travel will be approximately 75%, with readiness to address after-hours requests. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a safety or industrial hygiene degree preferred, and familiarity with hazardous gas and liquid

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
Safety or industrial hygiene degree is preferred.
Familiarity with hazards and safe operating practices for flammable gases and liquids.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs and other diagrams is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Support compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Provide safety training to facility personnel.
Inspect facilities to identify EHS deficiencies and provide regulatory citations.
Develop and deliver safety training and participate in incident investigations.
Assist in emergency response and incident command responsibilities.
