Job summary

Kinder Morgan seeks a Director to oversee the Sheridan, TX Houston Central Plant. You will lead Operations and Maintenance teams, develop annual goals, and coordinate with Gas Control, Engineering, EH&S and Finance to meet safety and regulatory targets. This role may act as Incident Commander in emergencies and requires a BS or equivalent with 10+ years in gas handling and emergency response; engineering degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience required.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years in gas treating ops, compressors and hydraulics.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and incident command.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages the performance of direct reports to operate and maintain the HCP facility safely and efficiently.
• Develops annual division goals aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversees plant operation and maintenance with Gas Control, Engineering, EH&S and Finance Departments.
• Directs performance to meet safety, budgets and regulatory requirements; supports Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Coordinates emergency response planning and incident command when needed.
