Qualifications

• Hands-on certified payroll experience required.
• Experience processing payroll for a workforce with multiple job sites or projects.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for approximately 200 Texas-based employees, including regular payroll and certified payroll for applicable projects.
• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports, ensuring compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
• Verify employee classifications, hours worked, prevailing wage rates, overtime calculations, and fringe benefit requirements for certified payroll reporting.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, reconcile timesheets, research discrepancies, and ensure documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
• Communicate with employees and internal teams in English and Spanish to resolve payroll questions.
