Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Testing Operator in Sacramento to perform automated and manual testing on rail vehicle subassemblies, diagnose issues, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with multimeters, high-voltage systems, automated test systems, and data logging.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical continuity, HI Pot, automated, and manual testing on rail vehicle subassemblies.
  • Connect/disconnect test equipment and vehicle systems while following schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures.
  • Operate diagnostic software and specialized test equipment, including NETS.
  • Document test results, communicate findings, and partner with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Follow company and industry safety standards while accessing roof and underframe areas using required PPE.

Position Overview

Join Siemens Mobility as a Testing Operator and help ensure the reliability and safety of the rail technology that keeps communities moving. In this hands‑on role, you’ll perform automated and manual testing on rail units, troubleshoot issues, and partner with production and engineering teams to keep quality at the forefront. What your day-to-day will look like
