Siemens is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician in Alpharetta, GA to operate production equipment and assemble components according to drawings to meet specs. You will inspect and adjust units to ensure tolerances and customer requirements.

The role requires reading schematics, wiring, and extensive electromechanical assembly experience. The position offers a 5:00pm–3:30am shift (training on 1st shift), strong teamwork, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 180 days.

Qualifications

  • Drill, tap, and prepare bolt holes in parts using appropriate equipment.
  • Align and fit component parts using tools, fixtures, or templates.

Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Assembly Technician will be responsible for operating production equipment and assembling components according to drawings and guidelines to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met. They will inspect and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.

Shift: 5:00pm - 3:30am (2-3 months of training will be on 1st shift which is 6:30am - 5pm)

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine assembly instructions.
  • Assemble, position, and fasten parts or units using hand and power tools.
  • Measure components and verify tolerances with precision instruments like calipers.
  • Drill, tap, and prepare bolt holes in parts using appropriate equipment.
  • Align and fit component parts using tools, fixtures, or templates.

To thrive in this role, you have:
  • HS diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to physically lift 35 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work in tight confined areas for extended period.
