Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Coordinator of the Testing Center in New Jersey to oversee department operations, train staff, and maintain testing systems such as ACCUPLACER, TEAS, and CLEP. You will liaise with IT and test providers, manage records, and support students with various testing policies and accommodations.

The role requires an Associate degree, 2 years serving the public, and 1 year administering tests; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Schedule Mon–Fri, on-site in Stelton, NJ.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Two years experience with the general public.
• One year experience in administering, processing, and scoring tests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate department activities and supervise projects.
• Train and develop Testing Center staff.
• Maintain computerized testing systems (ACCUPLACER, TEAS, CLEP).
• Provide technical support and act as liaison with IT and test providers.
• Manage student records and department files.
• Assist students and staff with placement/test policies and referrals.
• Administer, proctor, score, and record tests.
• Support students with disabilities and testing accommodations.
• Maintain test material security and inventory.
• Prepare reports and correspondence as required.
• Provide clerical support and operate office equipment.
• Answer phones, schedule dates, and assist visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
