Job summary

Daikin Applied in Faribault, MN, seeks a qualified test technician to operate test stands, read schematics, and document results in a climate-controlled facility.

You will troubleshoot electrical/refrigeration systems, train new staff, and follow HOMESafe and safety standards while contributing to a productive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or 2 years related manufacturing experience.
• EPA 2-year HVAC or A/C Refrigeration certificate preferred.
• Ability to read schematics/prints and interpret product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Connect and operate test stand units and adjust controls to meet specifications.
• Read schematics and blueprints to ensure proper assembly of sheet metal/refrigeration components.
• Use computer test software and complete test documentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve unit performance abnormalities in electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Train new team members on machines, safety, and quality practices.
• Maintain 5S program and adhere to safety policies.
