Job summary

Daikin Applied in Owatonna, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep site machinery in good repair under limited supervision. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and work with PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs to ensure efficient operations.

You will train with contractors, submit parts orders, assist emergency response teams, and uphold safety procedures. The role offers medical/dental/vision, PTO, a 401K match, and growth opportunities as part of a diverse, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments and replaces/repairs defective components or equipment.
• Performs work involving PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, etc.
• May train with contractors or outside equipment representatives as needed.
• Submits purchase order requisitions for parts.
• Observes and complies with safety procedures at all times.
