Job summary

Bellevue University is seeking a Test Proctor to administer the online proctoring program, assist with scheduling, and provide high-quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.

The role involves clerical tasks, preparing exams, and contributing to special projects like benchmarking and marketing initiatives. This position supports ADA accommodations and preserves confidentiality under FERPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Prior testing and/or College/University examination administration experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills is required.
• Ability to work with faculty, administration, staff, and students in a collegial and multicultural environment.
• Must possess strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accurate work.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint is required.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and the ability to identify and resolve problems without delay.
• Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently, but as part of a team effort.
• Protect and maintain the confidentiality of student records and test contents in accordance withFERPA.
• Dependability that can be assessed through regular attendance and through achievement of established requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administers the University’s online proctoring program.
• Schedules, prepares, and administers tests.
• Performs clerical tasks: answering phones, responding to emails, record keeping, and filing.
• Writes, revises, and proofs articles and notices for projects.
• Notifies manager when office supplies are needed.
• Maintains training and certifications as a test proctor.
