Position Summary

The Test Operator/Analyst will support the Government’s test and evaluation activities by applying operational experience and test expertise to assess system performance, identify issues, document results, and inform product-management decisions. The candidate will participate in all phases of the test lifecycle, from test planning and readiness reviews through test execution, data analysis, and preparation of post-test products. The candidate will coordinate with external stakeholders to define test requirements and develop executable test strategies for Army Programs of Record. This position requires an individual who can operate effectively in field, range, laboratory, and office environments; communicate clearly with technical and operational personnel; and translate test observations and data into concise, actionable findings.

Responsibilities
  • Support Army Product Manager Office test and evaluation efforts as a SETA contractor.
  • Lead Test and Evaluation (T&E) working-level Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) with Government representatives, external stakeholders, test organizations, system integrators, operational users, and other mission partners.
  • Ensure test strategies and supporting documentation are traceable to approved program requirements, capability documents, and acquisition decision needs.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and refining test plans, test procedures, test cards, test scenarios, data-collection plans, and readiness-review materials.
  • Participate in Contractor Test (CT), Developmental Test (DT), and Operational Test (OT) events for military systems and associated subsystems.
  • Operate, employ, or support the operation of military weapon systems and test equipment in accordance with approved test procedures and safety requirements.

  • Assess system performance, reliability, usability, maintainability, and operational suitability against approved test objectives and measures.
  • Identify test discrepancies, anomalies, risks, and operational impacts; support issue tracking through resolution or retest.
  • Prepare clear technical products, including test reports, daily status updates, after-action reviews, briefings, test observations, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Government personnel, system integrators, test agencies, range personnel, military units, and other stakeholders to support test planning and execution.
  • Provide operational-user perspective on system employment, tactics, techniques, procedures, training needs, and human-system integration considerations.
  • Support scheduling, logistics coordination, equipment accountability, and configuration management activities associated with test events.
  • Travel to Government facilities, test ranges, and field locations as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating military weapon systems in an operational, training, test, or similar environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of DoW test experience, including participation in developmental testing, operational testing, system integration testing, or field experimentation.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting test planning, test execution, data collection, discrepancy documentation, and test reporting.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute technical procedures, test plans, test cards, and operational documentation.
  • Ability to analyze technical and operational test results and communicate findings verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple test tasks, priorities, and coordination requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated Government-contractor team.
  • Proficiency with common Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet travel and field-support requirements associated with test events.
  • U.S. citizenship, TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience operating, maintaining, testing, or supporting EW systems.
  • Experience with Army EW, signals intelligence, spectrum management, electromagnetic spectrum operations, threat systems, or related mission areas.
