Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Test & Integration System Engineer in Goleta, CA, onsite. You will join the SI&T team to integrate, verify, and validate EO/IR Focal Plane Array sensor systems and support test plans across engineering and production builds.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of related experience, plus hands-on skills with instrumentation and test automation using LABVIEW or MATLAB. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with integrating firmware, software, and hardware and power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters and/or spectrum analyzer.
• Experience with programming in LABVIEW and/or MATLAB for test automation and/or data analysis

Responsibilities

• You will support integration, verification and validation (IV&V), design verification testing (DVT), and production testing to support the delivery of EO/IR Focal Plane Array Sensor Systems
• You will develop test plans and execute product test activities in support of engineering and production builds
• You will develop and exercise good engineering judgement and technical decision making inside the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities organization
• You will develop requirements, generate test procedures, integrate new systems, perform system testing, and support lifecycle requirements for assigned program systems
