Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking an entry-level Test & Integration System Engineer to join the Vision Systems (RVS) SI&T team onsite. You will help IV&V, DVT, and production testing for EO/IR focal plane array sensor systems. This role is designed as an internship converting to full-time after graduation, with a requirement to obtain a DoD security clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields required.
• Basic lab equipment exposure from academia or internship.
• Experience through coursework or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support IV&V, DVT, and production testing to support delivery of EO/IR Focal Plane Array Sensor Systems.
• Develop test plans and execute product test activities in support of engineering and production builds.
• Develop and exercise good engineering judgement and technical decision making inside the SI&T organization.
• Develop requirements, generate test procedures, integrate new systems, perform system testing, and support lifecycle requirements for assigned program systems.
