Job summary

RTX Goleta seeks an System Integration & Test II - Electronic Warfare Engineer to join the Space & Airborne Center onsite. You will interface with customers to shape CONOPS, architectures, and system requirements, and oversee qualification, verification, and validation across the lifecycle.

You will perform analyses, allocate requirements, and support transitions from production to sustainment, contributing to radar mode development and flight testing within a MBSE/Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant EW/radar systems integration, verification, and validation experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required before start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Integration, Verification, and Troubleshoot Test activities in labs, field, and Depot facilities; travel may be required.
• Conduct product qualification, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root-cause/corrective action using advanced test equipment.
• Perform detailed performance evaluations using MATLAB and other analysis tools and deliver results via technical reports and briefings.
• Troubleshoot hardware, implement minor design changes, and maintain engineering specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate technical discussions across Program Management, Systems Engineering, and Chief Engineering to resolve system-level issues.
• Provide technical guidance to IPTLs and participate in team meetings and working groups.
• Implement process requirements and contribute to mockup hardware repair activities, sustainment tasks, and Depot return/repair efforts.
