Job summary

SAIC seeks a Test and Evaluation Engineer to support Test and Evaluation (T&E) of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) AEGIS surface ships and weapons systems for Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare System (PEO IWS). Your work will contribute to the successful at-sea testing of new construction and modernized AEGIS combat systems and ships for various US Navy International Partners.

This work will be done on site at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; 5 years of experience or 4 additional years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• AEGIS Combat System operational experience (shipboard or lab).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support T&E of FMS AEGIS systems and ships for US Navy and international partners.
• Coordinate budgeting and financial management for test budgets in the $MMs; align with statements of work and milestones.
• Develop test scenarios using PEAR process; define resources and validate requirements for testing.
• Assist in planning meetings and communicate with stakeholders across multiple organizations.
• Work independently and with distributed teams across time zones.
• Travel to FMS countries and U.S. test ranges as needed for programmatic support.
