Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Test Engineer to support development and verification of test methods and metrology processes. You will work on test procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definitions to perform tests and minimize risk, while coordinating test hardware assembly with manufacturing.

The role requires a BS degree in engineering or related fields, 2+ years of experience, and eligibility for U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry (or equivalent).
2+ years of related experience or equivalent education/experience
Must be able to work 2nd shift
U.S. Person for export compliance
U.S. Citizenship for security clearance; interim/final Secret clearance post-start
Employer will not sponsor employment visas
Preferred: 5+ years experience or equivalent
Preferred: LOTOTO training
Preferred: High Voltage Safety Training
Preferred: Troubleshooting electrical/electronics in production
Preferred: DIT-MCO Programming

Responsibilities

Assist in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods
Develop test procedures, instrumentation, and configuration definitions to perform tests and minimize risk
Design component- and sub-assembly-level hardware or software and use analytical tools to verify designs
Assist in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware
Identify solutions to basic problems and support metrology process development
Support development of test debrief material
Participate in evaluation of test performance data
Review test data for accuracy, quality, and fidelity before delivery to the customer
Alert senior engineers to off-nominal data
Prepare test reports for review
Work under general supervision
