Job summary
Sprezzatura is seeking a Test Engineer to support a VA program that delivers benefits systems and applications. You will design, develop, and execute test cases and automated scripts to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of mission-critical software.
Work closely with developers, QA leads, and VA stakeholders to validate functionality, maintain compliance with VA/Federal standards, and drive testing across manual and automated approaches in a hybrid environment with two days weekly in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field and 3–5+ years of software testing experience.
- Experience with manual and automated testing, API testing, and backend testing.
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in secure/federal environments and ability to obtain a Public Trust or VA clearance.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing including test case design, execution, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute test scripts for functional, regression, integration, API, 508, and performance testing.
- Perform backend API testing with Swagger UI and POSTMAN; verify requests/responses and schemas.
- Build/maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium, Tosca, and other tools.
