Job summary

Sprezzatura is seeking a dynamic Lead Platform Test Engineer to guide QA across multiple workstreams for the VA Budget Tracking Tool modernization. The role combines hands-on test design and execution with leadership to drive an automation-first, risk-based testing model.

You will collaborate with analysts, OneStream/ERP teams, and integration engineers to ensure accurate business rules, calculations, data, and interfaces meet requirements and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in software/test QA for complex enterprise implementations.
• Hands-on testing across functional, workflow, integration, data, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Experience leading testers and guiding QA teams.
• Experience with configurable workflow platforms, ERP/EPM systems, or similar enterprise apps.
• Familiarity with automation and reusable regression testing frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/DevSecOps and CI/CD workflows.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate QA across Functional Implementation and Data & Integrations workstreams.
• Define and maintain testing approach, plans, and release-readiness criteria.
• Provide hands-on test design, execution, and guidance to testing resources.
• Develop and run functional, workflow, integration, data, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Drive automation-first approach and identify repeatable regression for automation.
• Build reusable automated regression suites for business rules, calculations, APIs, and data mappings.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Support UAT, demos, and production validation as needed.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation, and quality.
