Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Test Engineer to support a federal customer, ensuring quality and reliability of complex systems. The role bridges business requirements and technical solutions, with responsibilities spanning data testing strategies, test plan development, and end-to-end validation across environments.

You will collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, triage defects, and support releases, including production support as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in data or system testing within complex, enterprise environments.
• Experience querying and validating large, complex data sets; working knowledge of SQL preferred.
• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar cloud data tools) preferred.
• Agile experience required; SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data testing strategies aligned to complex workflows, business rules, and system integrations
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation based on detailed requirements analysis
• Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects, including test logging, validation, and results tracking
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, refine testing, and support releases
• Validate data and integration outputs, including API testing across environments
• Partner with client SMEs to triage, reproduce, and resolve defects, including production support as needed
