Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Test Engineer to support a federal customer, focusing on the quality and reliability of complex systems by linking business requirements with technical solutions. You will help validate data, manage defects, and support releases across environments.

The role requires 2–4 years in data or system testing, experience with SQL and Snowflake, Agile/SAFe experience, and the ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
2-4 years of data or system testing in enterprise environments.
Experience querying and validating large data sets; SQL knowledge preferred.
Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data tools recommended.
Agile experience required; SAFe is preferred.
Scripting or data analysis (R or Python) is a plus, not required.
Ability to obtain a US government clearance (FNS MBI).

Responsibilities

Define and execute data testing strategies aligned to complex workflows, business rules, and system integrations.
Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation from detailed requirements.
Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects, including logging, validation, and results tracking.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements and support releases.
Validate data and integration outputs, including API testing across environments.
Triaging, reproducing, and resolving defects with client SMEs, including production support as needed.
