Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Test Engineer to support a federal customer, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of complex systems by bridging business requirements and technical solutions.

The ideal candidate brings experience supporting enterprise applications, with a strong ability to interpret requirements, identify risks, and ensure system changes are accurately implemented and meet business expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Information Systems, or similar).
• 2-4 years of experience in data or system testing within complex, enterprise environments.
• Experience querying and validating large, complex data sets; working knowledge of SQL preferred.
• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar cloud data tools) preferred.
• Agile experience required; SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks preferred.
• Exposure to scripting or data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to obtain a FNS MBI Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data testing strategies aligned to complex workflows, business rules, and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation based on detailed requirements analysis.
• Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects, including test logging, validation, and results tracking.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, refine testing, and support releases.
• Validate data and integration outputs, including API testing across environments.
• Partner with client SMEs to triage, reproduce, and resolve defects, including production support as needed.
