Job summary

Cadmus seeks a Test Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of complex systems for a federal customer. You will bridge business requirements and technical solutions, support data testing across end-to-end life cycles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate designs and releases.

The role emphasizes testing plans, data validation, API testing, and defect resolution, with security clearances and enterprise experience valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
2–4 years of data or system testing in enterprise environments.
Experience querying and validating large data sets; SQL knowledge preferred.
Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data tools; Agile experience.
SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks preferred; scripting (Python/R) a plus.
Ability to obtain a US clearance (FNS MBI) is required.

Responsibilities

Define and execute data testing strategies for complex workflows and integrations.
Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation from requirements.
Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects with logging, validation, and tracking.
Collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements and support releases.
Validate data and API outputs across environments.
Triaging, reproducing, and resolving defects with client SMEs; production support as needed.
