Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Test Engineer to support a federal customer, ensuring quality and reliability across complex systems. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, create and execute data testing strategies, and collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements and support releases.

You should have a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in data or system testing, with SQL and cloud data tools like Snowflake, plus Agile experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
• 2–4 years in data or system testing within enterprise environments.
• Experience querying and validating large data sets; SQL preferred.
• Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data tools is preferred.
• Agile experience required; SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks preferred.
• Exposure to scripting or data analysis tools (R, Python) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (FNS MBI) is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data testing strategies aligned to complex workflows, business rules, and system integrations
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation based on detailed requirements analysis
• Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects, including test logging, validation, and results tracking
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, refine testing, and support releases
• Validate data and integration outputs, including API testing across environments
• Partner with client SMEs to triage, reproduce, and resolve defects, including production support as needed
