SharkNinja in Needham, MA seeks a Test Engineer to identify issues before launch and develop new testing protocols for performance and safety. You’ll collaborate with Engineering and Product Development to ensure quality and drive product validation.

The role requires designing/assembling test fixtures, data analysis, and strong communication. You’ll interact with global teams and contribute to rapid, rigorous testing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSEE, BSME or similar technical discipline major.
• 1+ years of product test engineering experience.
• Experience designing or analyzing electromechanical systems.
• Ability to design and assemble full scale test fixtures.
• Data analysis around statistics (e.g., Tukey, T-tests).
• Excellent oral and written communication to create reports and procedures.
• Change agent with energy and enthusiasm to drive change.
• Analytical, problem solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of setting up DOE.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the consumer by developing tests that evaluate product requirements against targets.
• Act as protocol/test/safety/performance standards expert for cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal/external SMEs across engineering disciplines.
• Present status of activities and projects to senior management.
• Help establish user design and functional requirements by delivering robust test protocols and validation.
• Develop test fixtures and protocols through conception, CAD, prototyping, and verification.
• Work with Engineering to create testing rigs for product performance.
• Collaborate with global Product Development teams to move ideas to production.
• Perform competitive product analyses and market research to gain insights.
