Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Test Engineer to join the NSWCDD Dahlgren team. You will design and maintain automated tests, write test plans, and execute both manual and automated testing across multiple levels on-site in Dahlgren, VA.

The role requires 2+ years of testing experience, Linux proficiency, and strong requirements traceability. You will interact with government customers daily and participate in Agile processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software/systems testing experience or equivalent education.
• Experience running/writing automation scripts or code.
• Comfortable reviewing C++ code.
• Experience using Linux systems.
• Strong requirements traceability and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to customers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Write detailed test plans, test descriptions, and test cases linked to requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing across multiple levels.
• Perform requirements traceability using DOORS and other tools.
• Identify and track software defects and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Interface professionally with government customers daily.
