Job summary

SimVentions seeks a Test Engineer for the NSWCDD Dahlgren on-site team in Dahlgren, VA. You will design and maintain automated test scripts, develop test plans, and execute manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and government customers to resolve defects.

Minimum 2+ years of software/systems testing, Linux, and requirements traceability are required. U.S. citizenship and on-site work at Dahlgren are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software/systems testing experience.
• Experience writing/maintaining automation scripts.
• Experience reviewing C++ code.
• Experience using Linux systems.
• Strong requirements traceability and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Write detailed test plans, test descriptions, and test cases tied to requirements.
• Execute manual and automated testing (functional, integration, system).
• Perform requirements traceability using DOORS and other tools.
• Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate with developers for rapid resolution.
