Job summary

T-Rex Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Test & Automation Analyst to support the DISA JITC TEC II program. The role focuses on validating functional requirements and expanding automation testing capabilities within SCRUM teams.

Responsibilities include test design, defect tracking, and collaboration with developers and program management to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions. A security clearance and relevant certifications are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of related experience; or Associate's degree and at least 6 years of related experience in a technical field.
• Must have a Secret security clearance.
• Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization.
• Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write complex software developer-level issues clearly.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience with sprint-based development cycles.
• Familiar with and actively using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Attention to detail creating, reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations.

Responsibilities

T-Rex Solutions is seeking to hire a qualified Test & Automation Analyst to support our DISA Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) TEC II program. This effort is to support DISA's mission to conduct DODIN operations for the joint warfighter to enable lethality across all warfighting domains in defense of our Nation. DISA provides, operates, and assures command and control and information-sharing capabilities and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to joint warfighters, national level leaders, and other mission and coalition partners across the full spectrum of military operations.

We are seeking a collaborative and driven Software Quality, Functional and Automation testing analyst. In this role, the ideal candidate will be an integral part of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with SCRUM teams, developers, and program management to validate functional requirements while also contributing to the advancement of our automation testing capabilities.

Requirements

• Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write complex software developer-level issues in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience working within sprint-based development cycles.
• Familiar with and actively using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Attention to detail creating, reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, internal/external customers, and end-users.

Desired Skills

• Contract writing knowledge is a plus.
• Jira experience is desired.
• SCRUM, Leading SAFe, T&E, automation, and/or AI in T&E certs are valuable
