T-Rex Solutions, LLC is hiring a Test & Automation Analyst to support the JITC TEC II program at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The role focuses on validating functional requirements and driving automation testing with SCRUM teams and developers.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in software quality, functional and automation testing, with communication skills for complex issues and a Secret clearance. Collaboration across teams is essential to meet quality goals in a defense-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience; or an Associate's Degree and at least 6 years of experience.
• Must have a Secret security clearance.
• Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization.
• Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write complex software developer-level issues in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience working within sprint-based development cycles.
• Familiar with and actively using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Attention to detail creating, reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, internal/external customers, and end-users.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate user stories, technical specifications, and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, and test scenarios for functional, integration, and regression testing phases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, at times collaborating with development teams to recreate or perform root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment on quality goals and project deliverables.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics.

T-Rex Solutions is seeking to hire a qualified Test & Automation Analyst to support our DISA Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) TEC II program. This effort is to support DISA's mission to conduct DODIN operations for the joint warfighter to enable lethality across all warfighting domains in defense of our Nation. DISA provides, operates, and assures command and control and information-sharing capabilities and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to joint warfighters, national level leaders, and other mission and coalition partners across the full spectrum of military operations. We are seeking a collaborative and driven Software Quality, Functional and Automation testing analyst. In this role, the ideal candidate will be an integral part of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with SCRUM teams, developers, and program management to validate functional requirements while also contributing to the advancement of our automation testing capabilities.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience; or an Associate's Degree and at least 6 years of experience. The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.
• Must have a Secret security clearance.
• Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization.
• Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write complex software developer-level issues in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner.
• Understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles and experience working within sprint-based development cycles.
• Familiar with and actively using the Microsoft Office suite.
• Attention to detail creating, reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.

Desired Skills

• Contract writing knowledge is a plus.

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
