Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, offers an internship program with potential full-time conversion after graduation. The role provides hands-on engineering exposure across commercial, military, and industrial engine systems, with cross-functional collaboration and real-world test data analysis.

Participants join the Engineering Development Program for three rotations, building breadth and depth in technical experiences, and gain knowledge of aero, mechanical, and control aspects of engine systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or related engineering field required to start.
• Experience in a mechanical/aero test environment or engine data analysis preferred.
• Engineering coursework or projects may count toward experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for development engine tests and functional validation across Pratt & Whitney product lines.
• Coordinate test plans, instrumentation, pre-test predictions, test procedures, and data analysis.
• Participate in discipline improvement activities and knowledge management.
• Collaborate with EDSI, Modules, Controls, Instrumentation, IT and Validation teams to ensure propulsion system requirements are met.
