Job summary

Rush Truck Centers, part of Rush Enterprises Inc., is seeking a Used Truck Sales Representative to drive truck sales within an assigned territory. The role involves visiting customers in person, building a robust sales pipeline, and coordinating with service, finance, and insurance teams to close deals.

The candidate should be able to travel regularly within the territory and maintain CRM records with detailed sales activity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; one year related experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable per Rush requirements.

Responsibilities

• Self-generate new business opportunities with customers.
• Maintain relationships in the territory; make in-person calls 3 days/week.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with outside visits and quotes.
• Make at least 3 in-person visits or 20 outbound calls daily; document in CRM.
• Document all communications and activities weekly with detail in CRM.
• Maintain knowledge of truck specifications and paperwork for deals.
• Coordinate service work with the service department and obtain PO approvals.
• Coordinate with Finance/Insurance for customer financing.
