Job summary

Purcell Tire & Service Centers is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to own and grow a protected territory across the Pacific Northwest. You will engage commercial fleets, coordinate 5–8 daily stops, and move inventory while promoting tire programs and durability insights.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in outside sales for tires or heavy equipment, understands cost-per-mile importance, and can pass a background and drug test.

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside sales in commercial/OTR tires, truck parts, lubricants, or heavy equipment.
• Understanding why a fleet manager cares about cost-per-mile, not just price-per-tire.
• Book of business is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license + 3-year clean record (no DUIs).
• Ability to pass background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Own a protected territory.
• 95% face-to-face selling to commercial fleets, construction, and logging outfits.
• Build your own route: 5-8 stops/day.
• Move inventory, push programs, and aged stock before it kills margin.
• Be the technical resource customers trust.
• Know DOT codes, load range, wear patterns.
• If you can’t talk shop, this might not be for you.
