Job summary

AlysEdwards Tile & Stone is seeking an Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager to grow current client accounts and pursue new opportunities. You will be responsible for generating sales, distributing and promoting new product lines, and keeping clients updated on pricing, product changes, and orders. You must meet and exceed sales plans.

Role requires field sales activity, relationship building, and excellent communication across client types. Travel within designated territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in the tile and stone industry, builder industry, or design industry.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Positive attitude, highly motivated and personable.
• Team player who enjoys a challenge.
• Ability to interact with people on all levels, ensuring high standards of communication.
• Independent problem solver, resourceful and collaborative.

• Driver's license with current MVR.
• Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts to nurture relationships and increase sales.
• Source new sales opportunities through researching prospects and outbound calls/emails.
• Set up new accounts to increase market share and bolster sales volume.
• Set up and maintain client displays and merchandising samples.
• Analyze client product needs, growth patterns, and market trends.
• Respond to incoming customer and sales inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Resolve client concerns by developing viable solutions.
• Keep clients informed about new products and offerings.
• Maintain extensive product knowledge overview of all AlysEdwards products.
• Speak to AlysEdwards' brand.
• Collaborate in a team environment to generate sales and provide customer support.
• Daily/weekly communication about sales calls and reporting.
