Job summary

Hahn Equipment Co., Inc. is seeking an Outside Technical Sales Representative based in Houston, Texas.

The role focuses on developing new business and strengthening customer relationships while delivering technical sales support for pump, rotating equipment, and electrical control solutions. You will engage municipal, industrial, engineering, and contractor customers, conduct visits, present quotes, and coordinate with internal teams to secure orders and support customers throughout the sale

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience selling centrifugal rotating equipment and/or electrical controls.
• Experience in pump, control, mixer, or municipal water and wastewater equipment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to understand customer applications and communicate technical solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct customer visits, jobsite meetings, and product presentations.
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment and control solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, proposals, and project opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and document customer activity using CRM software.
• Coordinate with inside sales, service, personnel, vendors and manufacturer representatives.
• Stay informed about Hahn Equipment's products, applications, and represented manufacturers.
• Provide responsive follow-up and ongoing support to customers.
