Job summary

The HT Group is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative in Houston to support existing customers and new opportunities by delivering product information and coordinating requirements. The role requires the ability to read basic drawings and develop project specifications, while also building relationships with EPCs, distributors, and end users.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in technical sales or specification sales.
• Experience supporting customers and/or sales teams in a technical, industrial, or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Support inbound sales inquiries and existing customer opportunities.
• Build relationships with engineering firms, EPCs, distributors, contractors, and end users.
• Assist customers and the sales team with product information, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review basic technical drawings, specifications, and project details to help identify appropriate products.
• Provide timely follow-up on quotes, customer requests, and project opportunities.
• Track customer interactions, projects, and sales opportunities in HubSpot CRM.
• Maintain accurate customer, contact, project, and pipeline information.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure opportunities are properly followed up on and documented.
• Develop a strong understanding of the company's products and assist customers in identifying appropriate solutions.
