Job summary

Gary James Inc Affiliates in Jonesboro, GA is seeking an Area Sales & Branch Manager to drive growth in the staffing market. This field-driven role requires face-to-face client meetings, prospecting, and hands-on branch leadership.

You will develop territory strategies, build relationships across industries, negotiate terms, and lead branch staff to achieve revenue and service objectives, with uncapped commission and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven outside sales success with a track record of generating and closing new business.
• Comfort prospecting in the field and meeting clients face-to-face.
• Strong business judgment and ability to convert opportunities into revenue.
• Ability to work independently while managing a defined sales territory.
• Leadership experience or readiness to lead a small, performance-focused team.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business through outside sales, including in person prospecting, cold calling, networking, and client visits
• Develop and execute a territory growth strategy focused on revenue generation and market expansion
• Build strong relationships with local decisionmakers across multiple industries
• Identify workforce challenges and deliver customized staffing solutions
• Negotiate pricing, service terms, and agreements to close profitable business
• Consistently meet or exceed revenue, margin, and growth targets
• Lead and develop branch staff to support client acquisition and service delivery
• Ensure operational execution supports sales growth, service quality, and client satisfaction
