Job summary

VELUX in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a field-based sales professional to expand our skylight market in the Charlotte territory. Starting monthly salary ranges from $4,813 to $6,017, with compensation based on skills, experience, and qualifications.

This role emphasizes prospecting, dealer and contractor relationships, and effective sales presentations. You will train dealers, builders, contractors, and architects on product applications and installation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or trade school training with building-industry knowledge preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Spanish language will be an advantage but not required.
Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an annual territory plan for sales growth in the Charlotte area.
Prospect new business and develop dealer and contractor relationships.
Provide product training to dealers, builders, contractors, and architects.
Manage territory budgets and complete required sales reports.
Support field service activities and participate in trade shows.
