Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative for Jefferson and Wayne counties in Illinois. You will act as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand and drive territory sales with support from the regional agronomist.

You’ll develop agronomic knowledge of Stine seed products, manage existing accounts, recruit new ones, and communicate programs to meet district goals. Flexible territory management and strong earning potential are offered.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of agricultural experience, including agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven sales techniques and strong negotiating abilities.
• Experience in dealer development and retention.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the assigned territory.
• Manage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals for the district.
• Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller.
